Carmen leads client engagements in operations modernization and AI governance. Her thirty years of experience include automation programs at AT&T, forty technical programs at Kaiser Permanente, the Care Studio deployment at Ascension for Google Health, a year running operations at an AI-agent company, and a Medicare Advantage membership operation she runs today. She uses workflow mapping to identify where agentic workflows can help, establish human controls, and evaluate how a proposed tool would change day-to-day work. Carmen leads the client relationship and connects the findings to decisions, priorities, and a practical delivery plan.

Kurt Wiedenhoeft

Infrastructure, security, EMR modernization, and agent-built software under human controls

Kurt leads the systems, security and technical delivery practice. A network engineer, software developer and startup founder, he has built and run systems since 1990 and built for the web since 1995. For a care-delivery group that works with Medicare Advantage health plans he wrote the original electronic health record, led its patient-centered medical home and health IT certifications, and now leads its replacement: a system built largely by software agents under written human gates, with the old one in production throughout. He runs that group’s infrastructure as well, from colocation virtualization and zero-downtime deployment to segmented networks and layered encrypted backup for a HIPAA-regulated system. In engagements he runs the technical sessions with client engineers and vendors, and his team carries the engineering and verification work under the principals’ review.
